About El Nido Island Hopping Tour

An independent comparison of the El Nido boat tours that leave the town beach for Bacuit Bay: the four municipal routes, A to D, on shared and private boats. We compare tour listings, official visitor information and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, hold no bookings and own no boats. The listings sit on the El Nido boat tour comparison, and every figure on this site carries the quarter it was last re-read.

Why this site exists

Search for an El Nido island hopping tour and you get listings at $22, $25 and $41 for what looks like the same day. They are not measuring the same thing. One price stops at the boat, the guide and lunch; the ₱400 eco-tourism fee, the ₱200 lagoon fee and the kayak that is the only way into the lagoon are collected in cash later.

Another price has folded those in. Put side by side without that line, the cheaper listing can be the dearer day. Separating the ticket price from the cash on the day is the main job of this site.

The rest is the practical detail the listings scatter: which route holds the Small Lagoon, which one the Coast Guard closes first, which boats include a mask, and where each one boards.

Where the facts come from

Prices, durations, ratings, review counts, inclusions, exclusions and cancellation terms are read from each operator's own listing, in US dollars, and every tour page carries the same fields in the same order. Fee amounts come from the municipality's published rates and the operators' own inclusion lines, and where a listing contradicts the town, both figures are printed. Route stops are the ones the listings and El Nido's largest booking office publish.

Season and sea-state notes come from the operators' cancellation patterns as reported in reviews. Traveller feedback reviewed: more than 3,000 published reviews across the listings here.

How this site earns

Through affiliate commissions on bookings made via the links here, at no extra cost to you. It changes nothing about the order of the listings or the wording: the boat we point to first is the most-reviewed one at $25, and the cheapest on the site pays us the least. Full detail on the affiliate disclosure page.

What we are not

Not a boat operator, not a travel agency, not the official site of any operator, booking platform or the Municipality of El Nido, and not affiliated with any operator named here. We have never taken a booking and cannot take one. Bookings, payments, changes and customer service are handled by the operator or platform on their own site.

Nobody on this site rode these boats on your behalf. What you get instead is every published fact about them, gathered in one place and dated by quarter.

Corrections

El Nido operators shift meeting points, prices and inclusions through the season, and the municipality has changed the eco fee and the routes before. If something here is out of date, tell us on the contact page and we will re-read the listing and re-date the page.
