This site is free to read because of affiliate commissions. Here is how that works, what it costs you, and what it does and does not change about what you read. The boats themselves are compared on the El Nido island hopping listings page.
The short version
We may earn a commission if you book through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the booking platform directly.
We are not a boat operator or a travel agency. We do not sell tours, take payments or act as an agent for any operator or platform.
Who does what
Every listing here is sold and operated by a third party. The El Nido operators on this site are Corazon Travel & Tours, Alexzus Travel and Tours, Beacfront Travel & Tours, Poseidon Tours and Expeditions and Cliffside Travel and Tours. Their name and the product ID appear on each tour page so you can check the listing yourself.
The operator runs the boat, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. The municipality sets the eco-tourism fee and the lagoon fees, which are paid in cash on the day. We have no authority to make commitments on anyone's behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.
What the commission does not buy
Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way. The practical test is on the pages themselves. The boat we point to first is the most-reviewed one, not the dearest; the cheapest listing on the site is described as the cheapest; and the one with six reviews is described as having six reviews.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings and review counts are the platform's own, re-read each quarter. From 4.7 across 49 reviews down to a listing with six. We do not calculate a site rating of our own, because this site has no customers and therefore no reviews to average.
Review excerpts carry the reviewer's first name, country and travel month as published on the listing, and run to 25 words or fewer.
Prices and fees
Every price on this site carries the quarter it was last read. Operators change prices through the season and platforms show different currencies to different visitors, so treat every figure here as a guide and the checkout page as the truth. Peso fees are the municipality's and the operators' published amounts; the cash you hand over at the lagoon mouth is set by them, not by us.
